New Cowboy Feature:
What in the world is this?
Unknown Horse Gear
This appears to fit on the forehead of a horse.  The age is unknown, but it's a sure bet it is very old.
The measurements are:
  • 16 inches across the top of the triangle.
  • 10 inches down each side of the triangle.
  • Thin leather strips approx. 12 inches long.
  • The leather strip at the bottom of the triangle, that lays down the rest of the distance of the face, is about 11 inches including the end tassel.
  • Two embossed stars in the brass circles in each top corner

There is a strap that goes behind the ears, and the other strap under the head.

Custom Built Saddles, Tack, and Accessories

Under Rick Ricotti's direction at his saddleshop in Clements, California, your custom saddle starts with the right tree for you and your horse. The most skilled artisans take extra time to translate your ideas and designs from raw materials into a saddle embellished with finely detailed tooling. Unique or traditional silver hardware can be designed to give your saddle the one-of-a-kind polish that will set it apart from the ordinary. Rare craftsmanship and premium materials -- for those who know the difference.
